What a quiet week it has been with Te Aranga being away on camp. We hope you all enjoyed your trip and can’t wait to hear all about it!
Terrace School would like to formally invite you to the powhiri for our new principal Andrew Chesswas. This will take place on the 30th of November, at 9:45am. All whānau is welcome to meet with Andrew after the celebration.
The year 8’s will be having a transition day at College next week on Monday. This gives them a chance to see what high school will be like and familiarise themselves with class schedules, the school environment and the canteen! We look forward to hearing how the students enjoyed their time at the college.
The Year 8’s also have a leavers day planned for the 10th of December. More information will follow.
We would like to thank Woburn Home for jumping on board to help fundraising for our school next year. We are lucky to be in a community that takes care of, and helps, our school out.
Terrace School would like to invite you to our carol service being held on the 11th of December. More information will follow on this.
As we are drawing to the end of the year our prize giving will be held on Friday the 14th of December at 12pm at the C.H.B College hall. This should be finished by 2pm. We ask that your children are collected from the hall and we look forward to seeing you all back on the 4th of February to begin our 2019 year.

JUNIOR SCHOOL ADVENTURE
On Tuesday 4th of December rooms 1, 3 and 7 are going to be having a fun day at Russell Park. This is a reward for all the hard work they have done throughout the year. We are hoping for a sunny day so we can make use of the Splash Pad while we are there. All whānau are invited to join us for lunch and games. We will be walking down and back so there will be no cost.
A notice will be sent home next week for parents to sign and return to give permission for children to attend.
